Quidax cleared $5,073,490 in attributed retail deposits for the week of 27 July to 2 August, beating the $4.9M record it set seven days earlier.

Back-to-back weekly records are notable on their own. What makes this one worth naming is the week it happened in: the market as a whole fell 2.4%, to $10.69M. Quidax grew 3.6% into that.

The result is the most concentrated week we have measured. Quidax took 47.4% of all attributed retail volume across the 13 venues in coverage — nearly half the market in a single venue — and together with Spenda accounted for 68.4%.

Below the top two, the same week looks very different. Busha fell 22.9%, Roqqu 22.8%, and Onboard 70.1%. The decline was real; it simply did not touch the largest venue.

What the deposit shape says

Quidax's $5.07M came from 12,053 deposits across 3,178 active wallets — roughly $420 per deposit.

For comparison, Spenda moved $2.24M across 57,677 deposits from 20,811 wallets, or about $39 each. Two venues, adjacent on a volume table, running on completely different behaviour: Quidax on fewer, larger transfers; Spenda on many small ones.

A ranking by volume puts them first and second and implies they are doing the same thing at different scale. They are not.

Method

Attributed retail stablecoin deposit volume for Quidax over the ISO week of 27 July – 2 August 2026, measured on the same basis as all venues in AfriFlux coverage. Deposit-side only — excludes withdrawals, transfers between venue-controlled addresses, and all off-chain activity. Share is of the 13 venues currently in coverage; Noblocks was removed this week pending revalidation and the history restated accordingly.
