Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using AfriFlux dashboards, research, data, and related services.

Effective: 30 June 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using AfriFlux, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use AfriFlux for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What AfriFlux provides

AfriFlux provides onchain analytics, market dashboards, wallet and venue attribution, research, and related data services. Some results are derived from public blockchain records, third-party sources, and our own classification models. Coverage is not exhaustive and may include estimates, delayed data, or revised attributions.

3. Information only

AfriFlux does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or regulatory advice. Nothing on the service is an offer, recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee concerning any token, venue, company, or transaction. You are responsible for your own research and decisions.

4. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, our data, or other users.

5. Acceptable use

You may use public AfriFlux content for lawful research and internal business purposes, with reasonable attribution where it is republished. You may not circumvent access controls, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, scrape at a rate that harms availability, misrepresent AfriFlux data, use it to facilitate unlawful activity, or resell restricted data without written permission.

6. Ownership and licences

AfriFlux and its licensors retain rights in the platform, branding, software, original research, classifications, and compiled datasets. Public blockchain records remain subject to their underlying public nature, and third-party materials remain owned by their respective owners. API, enterprise, and licensed datasets may be governed by additional written terms; those terms control if they conflict with these general terms.

7. Accuracy and availability

We work to make AfriFlux useful and accurate, but we do not guarantee that data is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a specific purpose. Wallet ownership and transaction classifications may change as new evidence becomes available. The service may occasionally be unavailable, changed, or discontinued.

8. Third-party services

AfriFlux may link to or rely on blockchains, venues, websites, and service providers that we do not control. We are not responsible for their availability, security, content, or conduct. A reference to a third party does not imply endorsement or a commercial relationship.

9. Paid and enterprise services

Fees, deliverables, usage limits, payment terms, confidentiality, and data licences for paid work will be set out in an order form, proposal, or separate agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, fees already earned are non-refundable.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AfriFlux is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AfriFlux will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or trading losses, loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100 if you used only free services. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. You may stop using AfriFlux at any time, and we may terminate access for a material breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the courts located in Lagos State, Nigeria.

13. Contact
