We've mapped Timon end to end — a Nigeria-founded travel-payments neobank now live across 16 African markets.
$3.7M in lifetime retail stablecoin volume, moved by 3,677 wallets across five chains in USDT and USDC.

The chain split is unusually even — no single dominant chain. BSC carries $1.43M (38.6%), Polygon $1.02M (27.6%) and Solana $961K (26.0%), with Ethereum and Base making up the rest. Three chains carry 92% of flow.

The growth curve is steep: volume up 3.7x and wallets up 5x over the past year, from Q3 2025 to Q2 2026, with Q2 alone at $1.43M.

But the shape of usage is the interesting part. The median deposit is just $60 — travel-sized top-ups, not transfers — while 82% of all volume comes from the top ten wallets, a Gini coefficient of 0.86. A wide retail base sitting under a small whale tail.

Method
Retail stablecoin deposits traced from verified Timon deposit addresses across five chains, Jul 2025 to Jul 2026, in USDT and USDC. Deposit-side only — excludes withdrawals, transfers between Timon-controlled addresses, and all off-chain activity. Concentration is measured on lifetime deposit volume per depositing wallet.
