Hisa joins coverage, and brings a category with it
Hisa went live on 12 October as the first Savings & Investments venue, taking the published count from 25 to 26. It is small — $210,281 on three chains since April — and coverage reads Partial because Solana is not yet ingested.

Hisa was published as live on 12 October. It takes the venues we publish from 25 to 26, and it opens a category we did not have before: Savings & Investments.
Hisa is a Nigerian and Kenyan app for stocks, ETFs and dollar savings. Every venue we had published until now was somewhere you move money through — an exchange, an off-ramp, a payments rail. This is the first one where the point is to leave money somewhere and hold it.
What we can actually see
$210,281 in retail deposits across 824 deposits, on BSC, Polygon and Ethereum, going back to 13 April 2026.
That is a small number and we are not dressing it up. It is roughly a thousandth of a single week of the market. We publish it because the category is new and the measurement is clean, not because the figure is large.
Why it says Partial
Hisa also runs on Solana, and we have not ingested that rail yet. So the number above is a floor, not a total — the real figure is larger by however much moves through Solana, and we cannot tell you how much that is until the rail lands.
Coverage will read Partial on the venue page until it does. We would rather show the gap than quietly publish a number that looks complete.
A note on the timing
This change landed on 12 October, the same Monday the previous issue went out, and it missed that issue's window. It should have reached you a week ago. The venue page and the methodology log have carried it since the day it went live; this note is the part that was late.
Method
Hisa was published as live on 12 October 2026 and carries its full observed history from 13 April 2026, so prior periods are restated rather than only the weeks since. The figure is retail deposits into Hisa's own deposit addresses on BSC, Polygon and Ethereum, each measured from the first deposit observed on that chain. Coverage reads Partial because Hisa also operates on Solana, which AfriFlux has not yet ingested — the published figure is therefore a floor, not a total. Hisa is tagged retail_only, so no business book is published for it and no settlement is added. Deposit-side only.
