Coverage is live

Every venue on AfriFlux now shows exactly when our data starts, including the month coverage begins on each individual chain.

119 venue-chain windows, across 19 venues and 13 chains.

Each venue carries one of two flags:

  • Full history — our coverage begins at or before the venue's first on-chain activity. Every figure on the page is complete. 16 of 19 venues.
  • Partial history — the venue predates our coverage of it, and the uncovered period is stated explicitly. 3 of 19: Quidax (from Sep 2019), Busha (from Jun 2020) and Monica (from Mar 2024).

The windows are read directly from the pipeline — the first attributed transfer we actually observed — rather than from a hand-maintained list. An editorial list drifts from the data behind it; this cannot.

Two venues entered coverage

Monica — $166.12M in attributed stablecoin deposits since March 2024, across five chains, entering as the second-largest venue we track. Flagged Partial history. Note · Research

Raenest — $3.81M in attributed deposits since September 2025, across six chains, at a $191 average deposit. Flagged Full history. Raenest runs business and personal flow on one shared rail, so we report the combined inflow and do not estimate a split.

The series is restated

Adding those two venues restates the whole weekly series upward.

Week of 17 August
Published 24 Aug$15,463,527
Restated 31 Aug$19,919,011
Change+28.8%

$4,242,077 of that is the two new venues; $213,406 is ordinary attribution drift on the seventeen venues already covered. No methodology parameter changed.

Every historical week moves, not just this one. Any figure cited from an issue published before today should be re-checked against the current series. We have written separately about why this restatement is the most important number of the week.

Wallet Labels

684,473 attributed addresses across 14 chains, refreshed daily, are now available through the API — not just this is Quidax, but which Quidax wallet: deposit address, master hot wallet, gas funder, user deposit address.

Method

Coverage windows are computed from the pipeline itself — the first observed attributed transfer per venue and per chain — not from an editorial list, so a window cannot go stale relative to the data behind it. A venue is flagged Full history when our coverage begins at or before its first on-chain activity, and Partial when the venue predates our coverage of it. Restatement figures compare the weekly retail series as published on 24 August 2026 against the same series recomputed on 31 August 2026.
