Spenda set a deposit record for the third time in six weeks
Spenda processed 81,751 deposits from 28,286 wallets in the week of 14 September — both records for any venue in our coverage. It beat its own previous record, set a week earlier, by 3,157 deposits. The average deposit was $35.

Spenda processed 81,751 deposits from 28,286 wallets in the week of 14 to 20 September. Both are the highest weekly figures we have recorded for any venue.
It is the third time in six weeks Spenda has set the deposit record, and it beat last week's — 78,594 on the restated series — by 3,157.

Volume moved much less than participation: up 2.3%, at $35 a deposit. Spenda was 53.3% of every deposit we measured this week, on 14.4% of the volume.
It is the clearest case in our coverage of a venue that grows by adding transactions rather than dollars.

Attributed retail stablecoin deposits for Spenda across the chains it operates on, for the ISO week of 14–20 September 2026, ranked against every complete week of every venue in the AfriFlux index. Deposit-side only. Spenda is tagged retail_only, so the size band is not applied; every other verification filter still applies. The previous record of 78,594 is the restated figure for the week of 7 September, first published as 78,257. Shares are of the 153,263 deposits and $19,700,006 measured across all 19 venues in the same week.
